In 2004, I illustrated a graphic novel celebrating the centennial of the Louisiana Purchase Exposition, also known as the the St. Louis 1904 World's Fair.

The book, written by Marcelo Vital, follows the misadventures of Nico Capelli, a delivery boy at the World's Fair who discovers a nefarious plan that could ruin the Exposition. We also get to visit the Fair through his eyes and see all the wonders the world had to offer in 1904.

The historical fiction graphic novel was selected for the Summer Reading program of the St. Louis Public Library.

Here are some sample pages from it. Click on the pictures to enlarge.
